We Need Your Support

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Join Us In Celebrating
GLO-PAR
GLOBAL PEACE AND RECONCILIATION
The Inauguration of
A Day of World Peace and Reconciliation

Dear Friends,

Park Central Little Rock is A Global Humanitarian Initiative…A Peoples’ Park. We believe the issue of world peace and reconciliation embraces the deepest hopes of all peoples and remains humanity’s guiding inspiration.

GLO-PAR was founded to create a greater awareness and provide an opportunity for people as individuals, organizations, and nations around the world to find ways to share A DAY OF PEACE AND RECONCILIATION TOGETHER.
The United Nations proclaimed September 21, 1981 as the first day of International peace and in September 2001 they expanded the day to include a call for global ceasefire and non-violence and invited all nations and people to honor a cessation of hostilities for the duration of the day.
In association with the city of Little Rock, Arkansas, our Inaugural City, we are asking the UN, Mayors, Governors, the President of the United States and Global Leaders to support our peace effort. We will also check with the UN to determine the activity on Peace and Reconciliation on January 1, 2009.

We plan to notify national and international media that the people in the United States will do all that we can to help the global community celebrate a day of NON-VIOLENCE. ZERO VIOLENCE.

I hope that you will support our efforts for Peace and Reconciliation and log in on our Blog and My Face Book page with your story and pictures for this special day.

Let’s Support
And
Celebrate GLO-PAR

At Midnight on January 1, 2009, we encourage
everyone to share
In One Minute of Silence for World Peace and Reconciliation in Hopes of Rippling One Minute of Silence into a full day of NON VIOLENCE.
ZERO VIOLENCE

Our goal is to encourage the citizens of the world to find ways to take a minute for Peace and Reconciliation (PAR) on this day and to renew our commitment to the GLOBAL PEACE AND RECONCILIATION process by finding ways to take a minute for peace each day in hopes of making every day a Day of Peace and Reconciliation.

A list of suggested activities is provided for this historical event.

Please join us on January 1, 2009, in this grass roots, ground swell movement for GLOBAL PEACE AND RECONCILIATION.

May the Spirit of GLO-PAR be with you,

Grace Hayes Blagdon
