One Minute of Silence

I (we) support the inauguration of The 1st Annual Day of World Peace and Reconciliation throughout (Little Rock, Arkansas, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and the world and I (we) pledge and urge all public and or private entities, government departments and agencies, organizations, business communities, places of worship, schools, colleges, universities, organizations, corporations, business communities, gangs, prisons, jails, residents, and individuals in our country and throughout the world to commemorate and celebrate, in an appropriate manner, The 1st Annual Day of World Peace and Reconciliation on January 1, 2009. ZERO VIOLENCE. This may include Persuasive Diplomacy, a program to create and foster positive economic solutions and incentives such as individual tax rebates on gas, food, and or reward cards for communities with ZERO VIOLENCE; First Night Activities, one minute of silence, a day of celebration, a month long celebration, notation on area wide calendars, community service projects, cultural exhibits and performances, peace poles, pyrotechnics, ringing of bells, descending- decorated balls fall at midnight (as in New York Time Square, New Zealand and other countries) throughout the world, sharing the universal wish 'May Peace Prevail on Earth' at noon, vigils, special and or religious services in places of worship and designated places, and all other appropriate education and public awareness activities in hopes of making every day Peace Day in our hearts, families, homes, our communities and between nations.
Together, through Peace and Reconciliation, we the people can make a better world for the people and the planet. *GO GLO-PAR

Our goal is to contribute to the awareness of Peace and Reconciliation by finding ways to take a minute of peace and reconciliation each day in hopes of making every day a day of global peace and reconciliation.
